Fraser Coast Regional Council

Hervey Bay

KAWANA was proud to produce and install the signage package for the new Fraser Coast Regional Council Community Hub, working alongside leading builder Hansen Yuncken to help bring this landmark Hervey Bay development to life.

Designed as a new community destination, the multi-level facility brings together the Hervey Bay Library, Fraser Coast Regional Council administration, customer service, community spaces and a Disaster Resilience Centre within a single, contemporary building. The project represents one of the Fraser Coast’s most significant civic investments, creating a welcoming and highly functional space for residents and visitors alike.

From the earliest stages of the project, our team collaborated closely with Hansen Yuncken to develop, manufacture and install a cohesive signage solution that balanced architectural intent, statutory compliance and an exceptional visitor experience.

The project included a comprehensive signage package encompassing external building identification, basement and parking signage, directional and wayfinding, statutory and compliance, room identification, amenities, and all supporting elements throughout the multi-level facility. Every element was carefully coordinated to deliver a consistent visual language while integrating seamlessly with the building’s contemporary architecture.

Delivering signage across a project of this scale required extensive planning, coordination with multiple trades and precise installation sequencing throughout construction. The result is a complete signage system that not only helps people navigate the building with confidence but also complements the quality of the architecture.

We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to a project that will serve the Fraser Coast community for decades to come.
